Great to see the Skype for Business Mobile app released for iOS users on iPhone and iPad which just left waiting for Android now.
The Skype for Business App has a new look and Skype feel as you would imagine, some new features and resolves the iOS 9 issues with Lync 2013 mobile clients. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3096704
The sfb mobile client main screen is updated with recent conversations which you can swipe to clear or reply, quick access to meetings, phone and contacts, upcoming meetings are also highlighted so you can join even faster! i think emojis look better as well 🙂
The dialling UI is redesigned and has the Skype for business feel making it even easier to use and you can now simultaneously view video and content which is great! the mobile client are only getting stronger and stronger.
There’s additional authentication options now with Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL) which enables multi factor authentication with phone call, text message or an app notification on your device after entering username and password.
To get the new client, upgrades are automatic for iPhone users but iPad need to download the new app from iTunes store.
