Lync Room System (LRS) software 15.12.02 – March 2015

Just noticed that SMART and Microsoft have released a new CU for SRS. This is version 15.12.2. This was released on the 6th March 2015.

Updates included in 15.12.2 update include:

• Adds support for SMART’s USB-bridge cable with firmware version 1.4.1.0.
• Adds support for new G5 series SMART interactive flat panels.
• Improves guest computer video capture reliability when used for permanently connected in-room computers.

Not a big update in terms of features and looks more of a compatibility update for new SMART rooms systems and USB bridge. The Room PC video reliability fix looks a good update to have for your LRS.

Inside the 15.12.2 update folder

There is only a “smartroomsystem.msi” file so looks like no new Lync 2013 client or OS updates in this release.
